Promises Soundtrack - The Musical Muse

If you have visited my website, you’ll see that I have a section posted under Extras where I wanted to share my playlists or favorite songs for each book.  You will also notice that it’s said “I will compile a list soon” for several months now.  It just seems that there aren’t enough hours in the day sometimes.  So thanks to Bewitching Book Tours for finally making me put this post together for at least one of my books!

I have been a fan of music for as long as I can remember.  My parents would play records (yes, actual records) for us to fall asleep to at night that ranged from Mozart to Steely Dan.  I’ve been a dancer since age three, and find that I simply do not function well if I don’t have music to listen to.  I can’t read music and I can’t play an instrument, but I sure do enjoy a good song or artist when I hear one. Reading, writing, studying, working…if you see me, I will most likely have those white earbuds hanging from my head.

So without further ado…here is my list of albums and/or songs that I consistently listened to while writing Promises.  The soundtracks helped me concentrate (especially those without words), and then there were other songs that emulated a scene or a character and I found myself going back to them each time I needed inspiration.  And now I think I’m inspired to get the rest of my playlists together…
