I have been a fan of music for as long as I can remember. My parents would play records (yes, actual records) for us to fall asleep to at night that ranged from Mozart to Steely Dan. I’ve been a dancer since age three, and find that I simply do not function well if I don’t have music to listen to. I can’t read music and I can’t play an instrument, but I sure do enjoy a good song or artist when I hear one. Reading, writing, studying, working…if you see me, I will most likely have those white earbuds hanging from my head.
So without further ado…here is my list of albums and/or songs that I consistently listened to while writing Promises. The soundtracks helped me concentrate (especially those without words), and then there were other songs that emulated a scene or a character and I found myself going back to them each time I needed inspiration. And now I think I’m inspired to get the rest of my playlists together…
